1. Platinum-plated titanium electrode as anode material has the following characteristics:
(1) Corrosion resistance, durability and high temperature resistance is very strong, high stability, can be used for a variety of media;
(2) Lower cost than pure gold, pure platinum anode, but have similar electrochemical performance;
(3) It has the characteristics of high output current density, uniform conduction and small loss and is suitable for making DSA insoluble anode.

2. Correct use method as an auxiliary anode for electroplating:
(1) Before using the platinum-coated titanium electrode, the existence (content and concentration) of "fluorine" ions and "phosphate" ions in the solution should be first excluded and it can be safely used after confirming that there is no chemical component corroding the platinum-coated titanium electrode. Otherwise, the substrate of the electrode may be corroded, which may easily cause the platinum coating to fall off and shorten the service life. Do not casually use hard chromium additives and recovery industrial chromium anhydride containing fluoride ions;
(2) Reasonable selection of process: current density and groove pressure should be controlled in an appropriate range, otherwise the service life will be affected and the plating of the anode will fall off seriously. As far as possible, the process of anodic oxidation reaction without the generation of solid oxide should be chosen to avoid the influence of oxide thickening passivation on the conductivity of the platinum coated titanium electrode;
(3) In principle, the cathode surface area should be less than the effective anode area (that is, the anode area under the liquid level). It should not be used when the anode area is less than the cathode area. Otherwise, when the tank pressure rises, the anode may be broken down and cannot be used normally again;
(4) After the anode stops using, it is best to clean with deionized water and take out the plating tank and store it in the deionized water (or pure water) tank separately to prevent drying, which is conducive to protecting the service life of the platinum-plated titanium electrode;
(5) Do not store in tap water for a long time, otherwise water rust will adhere to the surface of the electrode, which will affect the use
