1. Technical characteristics: excellent anti-bacterial corrosion performance; Long electrode life; Can be followed by higher current density, high current efficiency. Running current density: 10000A /M2 belongs to the oxygen evolution type anode based on industrial pure titanium.
2. High catalytic activity: platinized electrode is a high peroxide potential (1.563V relative mercurous sulfate) electrode. As well known, the MMO anode is a 1.385V hypoxic supercharge
3. Compared with mercurous sulfate electrode, the anodic oxygen evolution zone is easier to oxygen evolution. Therefore, electrolytic, the tank voltage is relatively low, more energy saving. This phenomenon has been obviously reflected in the alkaline bronzing wall after the disposal of copper foil. 3. No pollution. MMO The oxide is a fairly stable oxide, and the anode coating is a ceramic oxide of the precious metal Iridium. Almost insoluble in any acid and base, and the oxide coating is about 20-40 μm, the overall coating oxide content is small. Therefore, the MMO anode does not pollute the plating solution, which is much like the platinum-plated electrode.
4. High cost-effective: MMO anode is about 80% of the price of platinum-plated electrode, MMO electrode has better electrochemical stability in alkaline electroplated copper electrolyte, has maintained platinum-plated electrode (coating thickness of 3.5mm the same service life. Meanwhile, it has excellent electrolytic activity and durability.
5. The chloride in the sulfuric acid electrolyte exists in this current environment. The use of dimensional stable anodes prevents this phenomenon and enables insoluble anodes to achieve a successful performance advantage in this application.
6. Anode maintenance is minimal. There is no need to stop production to clean and refill the anode, replace the anode bag and re-coat the anode (productivity increases, manual operation rate decreases).
7. The life of the insoluble anode depends on the type, working current density and contact with various plating chemicals. Because copper ions tend to concentrate in the edge of the hole (high current density area) and accumulate quickly, while the central local hole (low current density area) accumulation speed is much slower. This result in uneven accumulation and distribution of copper: the behavior is called "dog bone". Operation at moderate current density will appear dog bone, operation at low current density will appear tube cracking phenomenon, operation at high current density will appear burning set phenomenon. For electroplated circuit board is no doubt a heavy impact. The platinum-titanium insoluble anode is used in sulfuric acid electrolyte, so the reverse pulse electroplating anode is born. The presence of chloride in this current environment will flake the platinum layer over time.
