MMO titanium anode strip is a kind of insoluble anode (DSA anode). The surface of the titanium strip is coated with a layer of noble metal oxide with high electrocatalytic activity by traditional thermal decomposition method.
It is usually used for the cathodic protection of the bottom of ground storage tanks and reinforced concrete structures. It has become a more suitable auxiliary anode material for the network anode cathodic protection system at present.
Method Of Use:
It is generally used as an auxiliary anode for impressed current cathodic protection. The intersection point is connected with special welding machine spot welding, forming a grid grid, the power point connection is connected with special anode joint, with advantages of simple installation and convenient construction.
Note: Coating ratio can be adjusted according to different production life and output current requirements. The MMO strip anode coating type, thickness, and anode specifications can be customized based on the desired current density, medium environment used, and design life.
Purpose: Used for bottom protection of various large storage tanks. For applications, it can be laid directly in wet or salty sand without any carbon-based filling material.
Application environment:
A: Good sandy environment
B: There is chlorine, oxygen, or a mixture of both
C: Usually used for tank bottoms and reinforced concrete structures.
